Love in Motion is our photo gallery celebrating the dedication of our incredible volunteer drivers. These compassionate individuals help deliver dignity, comfort, and hope to children in foster care and transitional living by transporting brand-new duffle bags filled with essential items and a comforting personal touch. Luggage for Love: Volunteer Driver
Nelsia E. – A heartfelt thank you to Nelsia, a dedicated CASA volunteer since December 2024 and a true example of kindness and compassion. After a fulfilling career in the healthcare field, Nelsia shared that “nothing is more personally rewarding or satisfying than giving of ourselves.” With the help of the Chaminade Crew and Rugby teams, her car was packed to the brim and off she went to deliver all the goodies to Birthday Wishes. Thank you, Nelsia, for being not only a driver but a true “lugger of luggage!”

Luggage for Love: Volunteer Drivers Greg S., Arthur & The Simone Family
Greg S., a Chaminade Crew dad and all-around great guy, went above and beyond by making two trips to drop off a ton of bags—we’re so grateful to the Stober family for filling their car to the brim! Ann and Mario Simone, also Chaminade Crew parents, donated a giant van and enlisted the help of their amazing employee, Arthur, to deliver the bags to Birthday Wishes. We are truly grateful for your time, generosity, and commitment to helping children in need.

Luggage for Love: Volunteer Driver Mary Collado from Reed Smith Drive
We first met Mary Collado at the St. Anne’s Luggage for Love initiative, and from the moment we connected, her warmth and generosity were undeniable. Since then, Mary has gone above and beyond—not only leading an incredible drive at Reed Smith LLP, where over 100 beautifully packed bags were collected—but also personally delivering the bags as a volunteer driver. Her dedication, energy, and kindness exemplify the heart of Luggage for Love. We are so grateful to Mary for being a champion of this mission and for helping bring comfort and dignity to children across Long Island.
